Moon Conjunct Venus December 25, 2003
Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season to all of you.
On Thursday December 25, 2003, there will be a pairing of Venus and the Moon at 5 degrees Aquarius. This should give us a spectacular view from out vantage point on Earth. The best time to view this is December 25, 45 minutes after sunset look Southward on the horizon. Venus (evening star) will be conjunct the crescent Moon. This will give the effect of a dark full Moon cradled within the crescent. It should look quite spectacular to those that can see it.
The planet Neptune is also in the sign of Aquarius at 11 degrees Aquarius and widely conjunct these two planets. Though you will not be able to see Neptune with the naked eye, knowing it is there will allow some to dream and enjoy a very beautiful and romantic event in the sky. Enjoy!
